Although mainly demonstrational, this video shows you how to play a song "Summertime" in D minor on guitar. This video is intended for advanced players who learn easily by watching or listening. Read the useful tips posted below to aid your guitar learning:

This is a loose and wandering version of this old warhorse song. Many guitarists play it in Am, but this video plays it in Dm.

Here are the basic chords:

Dm / / / A7 / / / Dm / / / Dm / / /

Gm / / / A7 / Bb7 / A7 / Bb7 / A7 / / /

Dm / / / A7 / / / Dm / / / Dm / / /

F / G7 / Bb7 / A7 / Dm / / / A7 / / /

Here is a note for those who are opposed to barred chords: Although there are 2 potential barred chords in this piece - Gm and Bb - only 2 Gm chords that are played are barred. The other Gm chords are sounded through an octave run. For Bb, play an A7 on the 1st, 2nd and 4th strings and slide it up a fret.

There is a slightly simplified free tab sheet for this from the instructor's website.
